These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your (“You” or “Your”) registration for and participation in any event (“Event”) organized or co-organized by the Malaysian Society of Nuclear Medicine & Molecular Imaging (“MSNMMI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By registering for or attending any MSNMMI Event, you agree to the following Terms:

    1. Registration
       a) You confirm that you are authorized to enter into these Terms and are at least 18 years old on the day of the Event unless otherwise specified by MSNMMI.

      b) You have completed the registration process, which may include filling out the relevant registration form and paying any applicable registration fee.

      c) Your registration is subject to the availability of the Event and adherence to the registration deadlines as posted or determined by MSNMMI.

      d) You agree to comply with these Terms and any other policies that may be posted by MSNMMI at any time.
    2. Assumption of Risks
      You acknowledge and agree that your attendance and participation in the Event are voluntary, and you fully understand the nature of the Event. Except in cases of negligence, reckless conduct, willful misconduct, or acts by MSNMMI, to the extent permitted by law, you agree to assume all risks, hazards, and dangers associated with attending and participating in the Event.
    3. Safety & Security
       a) You agree that MSNMMI, or the management of the Event venue, may impose security and safety protocols, including reasonable searches upon entry and identity verification. If you refuse to participate in these security measures, we reserve the right to deny your entry or ask you to leave the Event if deemed necessary.

      b) Your admission to the venue and attendance at the Event are subject to any health and safety policies, measures, and protocols in place, including but not limited to requirements for face masks and/or proof of vaccinations or health status prior to or during the Event.
    4. Personal Information
      Your personal information collected will be handled in accordance with MSNMMI’s Privacy Policy. MSNMMI, its representatives, service providers, event sponsors, partners, and speakers may use and disclose the personal information collected for the purpose of the Event and communicating with you regarding products, services, or other events. For co-organized events, we may share your personal information with our partners for Event-related purposes. Your personal information may be transferred overseas.
    5. Speakers and Sponsors
      Any views, opinions, statements, or advice (“Views”) expressed by any attendee, speaker, or sponsor at the Event are their own. MSNMMI shall have no liability for the Views expressed at the Event or in any materials provided to you.
    6. Payment
      You acknowledge and agree that certain Events may require a registration fee. Your registration confirmation is subject to full payment of any applicable fees to MSNMMI.
    7. Intellectual Property
      The content and materials provided during the Event are owned by MSNMMI, the organizers, partners, sponsors, or speakers and are intended for your personal, educational, and non-commercial use only.
    8. Photos and Videos
      MSNMMI, the organizers, event sponsors, partners, or speakers may record Event sessions or take photographs of attendees for marketing and publicity purposes. MSNMMI may share these recordings and/or photos with our guests and/or partners.
    9. Goodies or Door Gifts
      All goodies, door gifts, or products distributed at the Event by MSNMMI or our event partners are for non-commercial use and are not for sale.
    10. Travel and Accommodations
      You are solely responsible for making your own travel and accommodation arrangements to attend the Event unless otherwise arranged by MSNMMI.
    11. Event Dress Code and Protocols
      Depending on the nature of the Event, MSNMMI or the organizers may impose an appropriate dress code, and you are expected to comply accordingly. You are further required to adhere to Event protocols, including treating all other attendees with respect and courtesy, silencing your devices to minimize distractions, and avoiding disruptive behaviors. MSNMMI and/or the organizers reserve the right to deny your entry or request you to leave for any non-compliance with these Terms.
    12. Event Rescheduling, Changes, Cancellation
      MSNMMI or the organizers reserve the right to reschedule the Event or amend the topics, agenda, speakers, location, and format of the Event with or without prior notice. If MSNMMI or the organizers cancel the Event, any registration fees collected will be refunded to you, provided you have not breached these Terms. If you cancel your registration for the Event, the registration fee is non-refundable.
    13. Force Majeure
      MSNMMI or the organizers will not be liable for any delay or failure to hold the Event where such delay or failure results from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, fire, flood, pandemic, labor disputes, electrical or telecommunication failures, cyber-attacks, earthquakes, storms, governmental actions, acts of terrorism, or war.
    14. Limitations of Liability
      Under no circumstances, unless specifically stated within these Terms, shall MSNMMI, its officers, agents, partners, suppliers, or anyone else involved in planning, producing, or organizing the Event be liable, whether in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty), or otherwise, for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage (including loss of revenue or profit) that results from the Event and/or the materials, content, recordings, or photos of the Event.
    15. Disclaimer
       a) The Event will be organized on an “as-is” basis without any warranty.

      b) MSNMMI and/or the organizers will not be responsible for:

      i. Any damages resulting from the use of content or materials from the Event, inability to access the Event, and inaccuracies or unavailability in the content or materials of the Event; and

      ii. Data collection, use, or leakage by third-party platforms where the Event may be hosted.
    16. Governing Law
      These Terms shall be read and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia or such applicable laws of the territory where the Event takes place. You agree that any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Malaysia or the local courts of law.
